From prototype to series

We first manufacture a validation prototype to adjust the shape, dimensions, NFC placement and visual rendering. Once validated, we launch the series.

For small series (50 to 500 units), 3D printing remains the most economical method. Beyond 500 units, we direct toward industrial moulding if the shape allows, or we keep 3D printing to maintain flexibility.

Frequently asked questions about custom 3D printing.

What 3D printing materials?
Biosourced PLA, biodegradable PHA, technical PETG, ABS, flexible TPU. Depending on use (indoor/outdoor, food contact, mechanical load), we direct toward the most suitable material.
Can NFC be integrated into a 3D object?
Yes, it's even one of our specialties. The NFC chip is encapsulated in the object during printing, invisible to the eye. On scan, it opens your Timelapse-3D landing page.
What's the minimum volume?
From 1 unit for a prototype, 50 units for a small series. Beyond 500 units, we direct toward moulding if relevant. Sliding prices by volume.
Production lead times?
5 to 10 working days for a prototype, 15 to 25 days for a 50 to 500-unit series. Local French production at Seillons-Source-d'Argens.
Can we prototype before the series?
Yes. We manufacture a validation prototype before series launch, with possible adjustments on shape, dimensions and NFC placement.
